I have practiced meditation since 1995, mainly in the Buddhist Insight Meditation tradition. All in all I have spent more than two years on retreat. For many years this was the main focus of my life.
Later I realized that Buddhism`s emphasis on seclusion stifled my expression of liveliness. I sought out teachers of Non-Duality (Indian Advaita) and gained important insights there. Still, something seemed missing, so my search didn’t end there.
I deepened my understanding of Western psychology. For the past six years I have worked as a trained nurse on a crisis stabilization unit. My professional training in psychotherapy include the German Heilpraktiker for psychotherapy as well as training in Focusing and IFS-Therapy.
I’m married and the father of a seven-year old son.
