For many years of my life, I have been a seeker. On extensive journeys throughout Asia, I delved deeply into self-exploration and the profound questions of life. During this time, I encountered various spiritual systems, gurus, and masters. Participating in countless meditation retreats, including long ones (lasting up to three months) in different Buddhist traditions in Southeast Asia, India, and the USA, I came in touch with a large variety of mindfulness practices.
The integration of what I learned during these experiences followed, and I delved deeper into Western psychology.
Originally trained as a nurse, I have been providing therapeutic support to people experiencing life crises on a crisis intervention unit since 2012. Prior to that, I worked for many years in an epilepsy intensive care unit and spent two years in a hospice.
As a licensed practitioner for psychotherapy (Heilpraktiker), I completed trainings in Focusing and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, as well as in systemic couples therapy, solution-oriented systemic consulting, and hypnosis. I am married and have a 13-year-old son.
